The Colorado Master Gardener Course is offered annually and runs from October-March. Applications open up in summer.
It is a mix of self-paced and live sessions online. Class topics include: Botany,, Soils and Amendments, Entomology, Growing Fruits and Veggies, Irrigation, Colorado Gardening Challenges, Woody Plants, Integrated Pest Management, Weed Management, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Turf Management, and More. In-person labs are offered in Grand Junction.
The Master Gardener program includes training and a 50-hour volunteer apprenticeship (completed by October 31 after training is completed) or a 60-hour volunteer apprenticeship completed by October 31 the year after training is completed.
