Fair Theme: “Where I Come From”

Keep up to date on the Montrose County Fair Web Site.

The following information is VERY IMPORTANT to ALL HORSE and LIVESTOCK ANIMAL EXHIBITORS attending the Montrose County Fair! Please Read!

Because of the recent Vesicular Stomatitis outbreak in Colorado, the following precautions are immediately being taken in preparation for the Montrose County Fair.

All Jr. Show (4H/FFA) livestock, horses, and mustangs must be vet checked prior to unloading off of trailers at the Montrose County Fairgrounds. The following is a schedule of the Vet Check times for each day. Please refer to the below MAP for the vet check location during each of the check-in times.

Animals on the SAME TRAILER (Beef & Swine, Swine & Sheep, etc…) will not be allowed to unload until their Weigh-In times. So if you bring a steer or sheep/goat early with your pig, they must remain trailered until their respective weigh-in time.
