All About Ash

June 25, 2018

This class is for professional tree care, maintenance/landscape employees, master gardeners and home owners with some knowledge of horticulture practices. You will learn how to keep your ash trees healthy, learn about insects that are currently in Western Colorado, look alike insects, and future pests and disease. Class will be held from 9am-4pm (lunch is not provided). Part of the afternoon will be spent looking at ash trees in the local cemetery. Cost $10. City of Grand Junction counts this class for education of Tree Care Providers and ISA credits available. Class limit is 40 people. Call 970-244-1834 to register.

Vegetable Diagnostic Clinic

June 26-27, 2018

For small producers ( up to 5 acres), Master Gardeners and home gardeners with some knowledge of horticulture terms. Class will be from 9AM till 4PM at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Lunch on your own, snacks provided. Cost is $20 for both days. Call 970-244-1834 to register.

Discover Wildflowers

Come for a fun native plant walk and talk with Native Plant Master Volunteers on the Grand Mesa. We will spend a few hours looking at native plants and flowers. Tentative date for class is Friday, August 3rd. Email Susan.carter@colostate.edu if interested in this free plant walk. This is an introduction to our more advanced Native Plant classes.
